Dan has been running The Greyhound since 2011, during which time he has overseen an amazing transformation of the popular Ipswich pub.
He trained as a chef at Suffolk College and got his first job at The Greyhound in 1994 before moving to the Walberswick Bell. He returned to Henley Road to work in the kitchen once more before taking over as the landlord.
A keen Ipswich Town supporter and golfer, Dan is a season ticket holder at Portman Road and is proud that the pub sponsors the ITFC academy.

Ness had a successful career in banking, working for the likes of Barclays and Lloyds, before deciding to switch to hospitality.
Tom Pryke, Head Chef
Tom worked in the kitchen at The Greyhound for several years before being appointed head chef in 2022.
He has brought in an array of new dishes that taste as good as they look, and loves putting on special themed evenings such as Seafood Nights.
