We’re open for takeaway food and beer
We know how much you have missed your favourite Adnams beers and our delicious food, so we’ve opened up especially for you.
Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 2pm until 5pm, you can collect takeaway beer AND pick up our take out/DIY food kits.
It’s all done with social distancing control, and we hope it spreads a little cheer during the difficulties of lockdown.
We have various Adnams beers for you to collect at reasonable prices, such as regular Southwold bitter for just £2.50 a pint.
Please bring your own secure containers for us to fill! Most things will do – we’ve even had jam jars and a jerry can come through the door.
For food, we have DIY kit Greyhound nachos – chilli or veg – with all the everything you need included, ready for you to put together and enjoy at home.
And from this week we have added our popular pies. Yes, now you can enjoy the famous steak pie and gravy with our mashed potato and peas from the comfort of your sofa.
You don’t have to pre-order your food, but it might be as well to do so to avoid disappointment.
When you come to the pub, you’ll see we follow strict social distancing. In the car park, you must queue two metres apart, as laid out by our barrels. You reach us at the back door, where we will serve you from a table, so you don’t need to come inside.
Thanks to everyone who has supported us so far. We know the lockdown is difficult for everyone; it’s certainly testing for a business like ours in the hospitality business.
Stay safe, and see you soon!
