Proud to be voted Ipswich’s favourite pub/bar

We are thrilled to be named as Ipswich’s favourite pub or bar, as voted for by you.

The public vote was held on the All About Ipswich website, and we can’t thank our customers enough for their support.

Not only did The Greyhound top the Favourite Pub/Bar category, but we also came runner-up in the Favourite Dish poll with our ever-popular Chilli Nachos.

The judges said of the pub: “A proper Suffolk pub just a stones-throw away from Christchurch Park. Pouring locally-brewed Adnams beers, ales and award-winning gins; and serving delicious home-cooked pub food with a contemporary twist.”

And of our nachos, which become Norwood Nachos on home football matchdays, they added: “Winner of Ipswich’s Favourite Pub/Bar also has one of the town’s favourite dishes! The Greyhound is famous for its chilli con carne and it’s delicious on baked nachos with cheese, salsa, avocado and jalapeños.”
